This month we attended World Travel Market in force to check the sector’s healthy pulse, tried to gain some clarity around Brexit’s future impact on business, walked (yes walked!) from Gatwick to Heathrow for a life-changing charity, as well as plenty of exciting client developments…

Having promoted OPP – UK  leaders in psychometric testing – and its products for many years, Flagship is now supporting the promotion of The Myers-Briggs Company which has resulted from the unification of two businesses, OPP and CPP to create one of the world’s largest business psychology providers.

We have just launched the website for the Global Recycling Foundation (along with new logo and brand identity), an exciting development following on from the launch of Global Recycling Day on 18 March 2018, which saw the participation of over 13 million people across the globe.
The Global Recycling Foundation, formed by BIR but run as an independent organisation, will promote and support the global recycling industry in its mission to showcase the crucial role of recycling in preserving our planet’s future. The new website outlines the vision and mission of the Global Recycling Foundation, and how you can become a friend, or sponsor. Flagship went to Birmingham to join new client CDK Global at the annual Auto Management LIVE exhibition at the NEC.  Sophy and Belinda tested the brand’s new Virtual Reality (VR) experience, taking customers through their dealership tech tools in action, and supported Product Marketing Director, Marcus Dacombe, for his keynote presentation on the transformation of auto retailing – a talk so popular that it was standing room only!

The ‘B’ word

Brexit: What can your business do to prepare in this time of uncertainty? Claire Nelson attended a recent Brexit briefing, hosted by a group of legal specialists, to give you the low down. Gatwick to Heathrow – by foot!

Getting the 30 miles from Gatwick to Heathrow isn’t cheap or quick. An hour for around £25 on a coach or faffing about on trains and the Tube with your luggage. Once upon a time there was even a helicopter service!But walking it! Really?

But that’s what Belinda did on Sunday November 25.

She was part of a team of 30 celebrating and raising money for ABTA’s LifeLine – now in its 30th year. TTG 30 Under 30 were up for a challenge and wanted to give something back to the industry that we’re so proud to be a part of.

ABTA LifeLine provides life-changing support to friends and families across the industry whether they’re dealing with a personal crisis, the loss of a loved one or disability funding.

Year after year the travel industry helps make dreams come true but it’s easy to forget that sometimes not everything goes as planned. ABTA LifeLine has been on hand for 30 years awarding grants to help ease serious financial hardships, bereavement, domestic violence and so much more.

We’d love to hit £3030 to celebrate 30 years of ABTA LifeLine so please give generously.
