Oppenheimer & Co, an investment bank and financial services firm, expanded into Europe in 2009 – at a time when the industry was in the midst of the worst financial crisis in decades. The management team wanted to build the company’s profile to help support their growth plans.
We built Oppenheimer Europe’s profile through a targeted media relations programme, raising awareness of the investment bank’s strategy in EMEA. We strategically released key business updates when the firm opened new offices or started new business lines. We then worked with key journalists and built first-person connections for the CEO to build credibility and a strong presence in the market.
We secured coverage in significant financial publications to tell the story of Oppenheimer’s growth in Europe. These key media appearances and interviews led to new business enquiries and contacts for the company from prospective employees.
